The nice thing about the GT 3050 is that it is very light at 0.5 kg, yet feels like a tough durable tool, accent on able. Seven durable steel tempered tines are all you get but they do get the job done in tight areas around your trees and bushes,flowers. Grooming a garden is a delicate operation requiring patience and a deliberate hand. Think of the GT 3050 as an extension of your hand as it gently combs the earth removing surface weeds and moving mulch around your plantings. You can reach in deep, 18”- 32” by simply twisting then locking the aluminum shaft into itself at the desired length. Locking this tool is a simple yet reliable way of securing the tools’ reach never slipping or bending even at the fully extended position.

The Tempered steel tines are tight and do not give way no matter what amount of reasonable pressure you exert on them. In fact if you do not exercise care to ease up on tension as you pull in your work, you run the risk of sling-shotting your debris at or behind you. I am curious how long they will hold their tension throughout the life of the GT3050. By all appearances this tempering is permanent, but time will certainly tell.

Handling the GT 3050 is facilitated by a soft textured rubber handle, which makes this tool quite comfortable to manipulate about. A hanging ring facilitates giving the GT 3050 a well deserved and orderly resting place on you tool wall.
