The McCulloch M842 Petrol Chainsaw has been built to handle tough jobs and is driven by a high-performance, clean-running and economical 2.2hp (42cc) engine, which is equipped with a fuel primer and an electronic ignition for easy starting in any weather. Its dual-action inertia-type chain brake helps to protect the user by ensuring that the chain is brought to an immediate halt in the event of kick-back; while its ergonomically designed, vibration isolated handles and lightweight build (only 5.5kg) allow for comfortable, controlled operation. The McCulloch M842 Chainsaw also features tool-less chain-tensioning for quick and easy chain adjustment and reduced pulling force in the starter handle.
