Stihl Hedge Trimmers are designed and built for use in park and landscape maintenance, but can also be used for large private gardens. They are characterised by their rugged construction geared towards continuous use and by numerous technical refinements that take the strain out of your work. Their Petrol engines allow you to work with unlimited freedom of movement and with their state of the art blade geometry, they are idea for cutting back tough or woody hedges (HS81R, HS86R) or for neatly trimming for the perfect finish (HS81T, HS86T).

For 2006, Stihl introduce two separate models, designed for different jobs.

If you have woodier hedges, you'd be best with an HS81R or HS86R. They are designed specifically to eat through tougher jobs.
For a perfect trim on your hedge, go with an HS81T or HS86T.
