There is a choice of two shaft lengths and three attachable cutting tools. A detachable carrying belt makes work considerably easier and relieves strain particularly when cutting extensive areas.
The new long-reach hedge cutters are invaluable tools for cutting very wide, long and tall hedges without the need for a working platform. They make work very much easier and save time.

Level areas. With the STIHL hedge cutters, ground-covering plants, tall grass, reed etc., can be cut effortlessly on level areas or slopes - Recommendation 30° fixed or 0-125° models.
Overhead working, especially cutting the tops of hedges and bushes. "Designer cutting" of hedges and shrubs is easy with the cutting head fixed at 30° or with 0-125° adjustable head (attachments HG300 or H900).
Vertical cutting of bushes and hedges is also possible with hedge cutters when beds or obstructions prevent direct access - Recommendation 30° fixed or 0-90° models (attachments HG300 or H900).
Additional cutting tools
Cutting with a large working range is possible with the 0° version. The 30° version is suitable for vertical cutting at a distance from the hedge and for work above the head. Ground-covering plants and shrubbery can be cut horizontally.The 0-90° version can be used universally.
